Find out who we are below

The Georgia Radio Reading Service, or GaRRS for short, is Georgia’s premier provider of information for individuals who are visually-impaired or otherwise print-impaired. Every month, we broadcast and stream hundreds of programs including local and national newspapers, books, magazines, events, employment opportunities, and shopping ads. We invite you to access our expansive program library or sign up to listen to our live broadcast.

How to listen

Our programs are completely free, and they are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can listen online, through an app, using one of our free radio receivers, or over the phone.

Our dedicated volunteers make our work possible. Every month, hundreds of volunteers are recorded as they read the printed materials that we broadcast all over the state. If you would like to help us inform and entertain thousands of Georgia residents, submit your application to volunteer with GaRRS.

Your tax-deductible donation improves the quality of life of thousands of listeners. Help us as we connect the visually-impaired with their community through employment resources, information, events, and news.
