Lauren Lieberman – Camp Abilities

Jane speaks with Lauren Lieberman, founder of Camp Abilities, an organization that holds summer camps for blind children with the goal of empowering children and teens with visual impairments to be physically active and productive members of their schools, towns, cities, and communities, as well as improving the health and well-being of people with sensory impairments. Currently there are Camp Abilities sessions each year in 29 locations in the US and internationally. There are three locations in Georgia, and international locations include Bangladesh, Ireland, Portugal, Brazil, Ghana, Latvia, Switzerland and Italy.
